Stevens Institute of Technology will officially dedicate its recently renovated Grace E. and Kenneth W. DeBaun Auditorium with a three day celebration of concerts and presentations beginning Today, Oct. 15, at 5:00 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the university’s Edwin A. Hundreds of students, staff, faculty and alumni will participate in various dedication ceremonies between Oct. 15 - 17, to official open the auditorium and to acknowledge the support of these groups in the renovation project. The events scheduled for these days include a performance during the "student" dedication on Oct. 16 by the recording group, "10,000 Maniacs ." The events for the celebration include:

Oct. 15 - Official Dedication with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony - 5:00 p.m.

Oct. 16 - "Student Dedication" with performance by "10,000 Maniacs"

Oct. 17 - "Alumni Dedication" with performance by the Lyric Theater

The auditorium is housed in the Edwin A. Stevens Hall, the first university building built in 1871. The Hall is a registered historic landmark and was one of Upjohn’s recognized post-Civil War architectural designs in addition to Trinity Church in Manhattan.
